BBC Radio Leicester's Tony Wadsworth presented his morning programme from Invicta Group on the 16th of April 2010 between 9am and 12 noon. Tony toured the complex meeting staff and personnel to determine what goes on behind the scenes at Invicta. The show was broadcast live on 104.9 FM and online at bbc.co.uk/Leicester.
Tony interviewed many people during his visit, including our CEO, Lady Cranley, our Marketing Director, Shelley Jones Fenleigh, and our Operations Director, Edward Badger - have a look at the pictures!
The Outside Broadcast was a huge success to not only BBC Radio Leicester but also Invicta, as we were able to make the Leicester audience aware of Invicta's way of working and how we've managed to be an award winnng Leicester based manufacturer who has over sixty years of experience and a presence in the global market place.
The day wasn't just all work - we had a lot of fun, made a lot of teas and Tony tried to break one of our innovative indestructible polycarbonate pint glasses and failed miserably - nevertheless the activity raised over £300 for Rainbow charity so it was all for a good cause!
